Copilot Accelerate Program
Sustainable adoption of Microsoft Copilot, tailored to your organization
Only 11% of organizations achieve measurable return on investment (ROI) from their AI investments. Not because the technology falls short, but because adoption often stalls at isolated experiments, pilots, and enthusiasm without clear direction. Microsoft Copilot is rolled out, employees start exploring it, yet structural growth in usage, value, and maturity fails to materialize. The result: high expectations, limited returns, and little control over what AI truly contributes to daily work.
The Copilot Accelerate Program helps organizations embed Copilot sustainably while steadily increasing their level of maturity. Not through a one-size-fits-all training, but with an approach tailored to the current capabilities of employees and designed to evolve alongside the organization. This creates lasting adoption, with clear insight into usage and impact.
Do you recognize this?
- M365 Copilot or Copilot Chat is available, but usage remains limited.
- Employees experiment, yet structural value fails to materialize.
- Everyone gets the same training, despite significant differences in skill levels.
- Success is difficult to measure: what does AI truly deliver?
- Initial enthusiasm fades after the first initiatives.
- There is no clear growth path toward mature AI adoption.
Many organizations find themselves in the middle of the AI hype cycle. The Copilot Accelerate Program helps you move through it in a controlled, realistic, and sustainable way.
What makes the Copilot Accelerate Program unique?
Differentiate where necessary
Not everyone is at the same level. That's why we tailor guidance to pace, role and need so that each employee can grow successfully, from initial introduction to mature use.
Cyclical work
Adoption is not a project with an end date, but a change in working. We work in clear cycles in which measuring, learning, applying and adjusting are central.
Practical work with Copilot and agents
Within the program, we pay attention to Copilot agents for personal productivity. Employees explore how they can use accessible agents to support their own work smarter. Always appropriate to their level and focused on directly applicable value in daily work.
Scalable and future-proof
The approach grows with the organization: from individual productivity to team use and on toward process- and organization-wide deployment.
What does the Copilot Accelerate Program deliver?
After an initial cycle, you will have concrete and applicable results:
Not an end point, but a solid foundation for continued development.
What is the Copilot Accelerate Program?
The Copilot Accelerate Program is an ongoing adoption program, built in manageable cycles of approximately four months. Each cycle consists of measurement, training, coaching and evaluation. In it, employees not only learn to work with Copilot, but also discover how they can increase their own productivity with practical applications and agents.
At the center is the Copilot Adoption Maturity Assessment that provides insight into how Copilot is being used today across teams and colleagues. Based on this, employees follow a learning path appropriate to their experience and role. Multiple maturity levels can run simultaneously within one organization and cycle, ensuring that everyone is supported at the right time, in the right way.
Measure
We map out how Copilot is being used today, where employees are in their maturity, and where there are opportunities for more targeted growth.
Training
Employees learn how to use Copilot effectively in their daily work, tailored to their role and level.
Supervise
We support employees and teams in practice, with targeted coaching, activation and attention to lasting behavior change.
Evaluate
We understand the impact on usage, experience and value and together determine the next logical step in the growth path.
1. Awareness
In the Awareness level, getting acquainted is key. Employees explore what Copilot is and what it can mean for their work. They build up basic knowledge, experiment carefully and develop a sense of its possibilities. For the organization, this is the stage where it becomes clear why Copilot is being implemented and what ambitions are tied to it.
2. Active
In the Active level, the focus shifts to application. Employees use Copilot more consciously in their daily work and learn by doing. Real-world scenarios help to get more targeted value from Copilot, while usage and experience begin to visibly grow. In this level, employees also explore how Copilot can help agents perform personal tasks more efficiently.
3. Operational
In the Operational level , Copilot is increasingly deployed in teams and by role. The focus is on collaboration, sharing practices and deepening use within specific contexts. This includes looking at how agents can be used to support team- and role-based work. Usage and experiences are becoming more transparent, allowing organizations to learn and adjust in a more focused way toward more consistent and mature usage.
4. & 5. Systemic and Transformational
For organizations growing further, the Systemic and Transformational levels follow. At these levels, AI is integrated into processes, decision-making and strategy. Governance, ongoing development and scalability are organized and humans and AI naturally work together.
FAQ
The Copilot Accelerate Program is designed for organizations that have made or want to make Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Chat available and now want to get a handle on adoption, usage and value.
In practice, we often work with IT and Digital Workplace teams, HR/L&D, innovation and transformation teams, and CIO/CDO organizations responsible for the success of AI initiatives.
No. The Copilot Accelerate Program is designed to be applicable to organizations with and without Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses.
In addition to a path for Microsoft 365 Copilot, there is also a full growth path based on Copilot Chat. This also allows employees who do not have a Copilot license to participate in the program, for example colleagues in healthcare, manufacturing, services or other roles in which little work is done with Microsoft 365.
The Copilot Accelerate Program is not just for employees with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Employees without a license, for example colleagues in healthcare, manufacturing, services or other non-office roles, can also participate via Copilot Chat.
A separate growth path has been set up within the program for this purpose, with multiple maturity levels. The focus is on low-threshold introduction to AI, developing basic skills in prompting and applying Copilot Chat responsibly in daily work activities, appropriate to the way these employees work.
No. Rather, the program is designed to support different maturity levels simultaneously. Employees and teams may therefore be in different levels (Awareness, Active or Operational) at the same time. The program matches these so that everyone receives guidance appropriate to their level and role.
Each cycle consists of a combination of measuring, learning and coaching. Think of an intake and maturity assessment, targeted sessions per level, coaching in daily use and an evaluation in which we determine together what the next logical step is.
We combine qualitative and quantitative insights. These include maturity assessments, evaluations among participants and insight into usage via the (advanced) Copilot Adoption Dashboard. This creates a realistic picture of growth in usage, experience and value.
No. The program is set up as an ongoing adoption model. Organizations can start with one cycle and then grow in a focused way with follow-up steps in successive cycles. This keeps Copilot adoption moving and the program aligned with organizational development.
Separate trainings often focus on knowledge transfer. The Copilot Accelerate Program focuses on behavior change and maturity. By working with different maturity levels, with measurement and guidance, and continuous attention to communication and the community feel, lasting adoption occurs rather than a one-time boost.
